Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. Presently, he hosts the New Thinking Allowed channel on YouTube. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death. He is Co-Director of Parapsychology Education at the California Institute for Human Science.

Helané Wahbeh, ND, MCR

Helané Wahbeh, ND, MCR, is Director of Research at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, where she leads rigorous interdisciplinary research on consciousness, health, and extended human capacities. She earned a Master of Clinical Research through Oregon Health & Science University's Human Investigations Program, completed two postdoctoral research fellowships, and received a five-year National Institutes of Health K award for advanced training in clinical research, neuroscience, electrophysiology, and biostatistics. Dr. Wahbeh is especially known for her pioneering research on channeling, has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, and brings more than 25 years of dedicated meditation practice to her work at the frontiers of noetic science.

Haroldo Dutra Dias, PhD

Neuroscientist, Psychologist & International Spiritist Speaker

Neuroscientist, psychologist, and biomedical sciences student, with research focused on psychoneuroimmunology and the neuroimmune mechanisms involved in psychiatric disorders. Since 2024, he has been conducting postdoctoral research at the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in collaboration with the Psychoneuroimmunology Laboratory at the University of São Paulo School of Medicine. He holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Neuroscience from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and is an associated researcher at the iNuTech Institute and Selye Lab/FMUSP. In addition to his scientific career, he also serves, currently on leave, as a Judge of Law in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Alexander Moreira-Almeida, MD, PhD is Professor of Psychiatry at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), Brazil. Past chair of the Section on Spirituality of the World Psychiatric Association. Recipient of the 2025 Oskar Pfister Award from the American Psychiatric Association, the top award in the field of psychiatry and spirituality. Author of more than 230 academic papers, mostly on spirituality and health.
